In 2007, I made a life changing decision. I was in the midst of frequent anxiety and panic attacks due to my daughter feeling depressed and living 3,000 miles away at college. At the time, I lived only a few miles from the renowned Chopra Center for Wellbeing founded by none other than Dr. Deepak Chopra. I decided I wanted to learn how to meditate. I had tried throughout the years without any formal teaching, but never stuck with a daily practice.
What I know for sure is when you are serious about truly wanting change in your life, you will invest in that change. So, I paid $375 and took the Chopra Center's Primordial Sound Meditation course. Within just a few shorts months I was no longer having panic attacks and feeling stable and calm, which I hadn't experienced in years , if ever! I made the life changing decision to become a meditation instructor at that time, because I knew that I had to share with the world this simple and yet so very profound spiritual tool.
